TEIN UK - GT-R Register - Official Nissan Skyline and GTR Owners Club forum

TEIN UK | COMPANY PROFILE | TEIN WORLDWIDE says here they can repair them at MK

interesting, thanks for that mate, looks all the hassle to get the repaired and costly, i think if they are faulty i might just buy another pair, seems easier and i cant afford to wait weeks without them as its my only car. I hope it something simple as i only got the car on sat!

Well on the way home from getting the car i noticed they were very bouncy on the motorway, even over the slightest bump i was almost out of my chair, so i thought ok they just need adjusting, so the the other night i found an online manual and stiffened them up as per the manual but no change, they should be on the 2nd from hardest setting but even when i go over a speed bump the back end is bouncing up and down, i cant even drive the car fast as it feel unsafe, had a similar thing on my skyline and the coilovers were knackered, so im getting there broken, taking the car to subaru4u on saturday so they can have a look

Default Tein UK

In my opinion Tein UK are Total T*ats - I've got 2 near new Tein basic rears and two old fronts (type HA ) one of which has had it. Contacted tein UK and they said one front shock would be £156 pls vat to repair -and they won't sell me a pair of front basics. When i finally decided to get the front one overhauled they said :
" You need to send it through either a Tein dealer or a garage.

We need to raise an invoice to a business in the trade.

Expect lead time to be around 5 weeks or so"

- 5 weeks and £156 pls vat my A*se, i've just bought a set of Cusco's with a slight leak on one rear so i'll try and use the new Tein rears with the Cusco springs & pillowballs and the perfect Cusco fronts. Tein UK are usless and certainly won't get a sniff of my wallet in this lifetime!
