Default Bumper

Hi,

will a face lift bumper fit a non face lift car? i know the grill would need to be a non facelift job.

for instance a 97 bumper on a 94? and the 94 keeping its original grill.

A resounding yes. All Classic front bumpers are interchangeable i.e. v.1-4 will substitute with v.5/6 and the grille/side- & head-lights/bonnet aren't interfered with at all. You may have to also swap over to the correct metal bumper support bracket though.

I'm assuming you want to replace yours with the v.5/6 one obviously? Don't forget you'd also need the v.5/6 shorter indicators too.

Does your FMIC pipes interfere with your bumper? If so, this will have to be overcome on the new one too - not hard.

Great, thanks for the confirmation.

Yes i'll need to do some alterations, as i needed to do for my current bumper! but i'll do it nicely, take my time and probably mesh it too!
