had my car in at subaru for brakes clunking at front took it under warrenty, they said that the pads sit loosly in the calipers and when you brake they clunk, nothing they can do they say as this the same in every newage sti, the clunk is that loud that its putting me of braking at slow speeds lol,is this true or there just trying to get out of the warrenty

The pistons, unless they're 'seized', automatically take up any slack as the pads wear, so they shouldn't rattle around. Do your pads pattern have anti-rattle retaining springs? If so, are they actually present on the pads?!
