Default any one know were to get big ends done??

hi all, big ends need doing dose anyone know were i can take it in west yorkshire i live in huddersfield car drives ok but rattles a bit at 3.5k revs
and could any 1 have a stabb at costs just want bearings done

Still a case of splitting the block, £250-300 just for the gasket set, then add in £150-200 for bearings plus anthing else thats found? etc etc it soon adds up.

I cant see anyone just wanting to cobble it back together either.......

Andy you can either take it to Pennine Subaru in Hebden Bridge or Richard Henry motorsport in Bradford, both are reasonable in price. If the big ends are gone you are also looking at another crank and at a minimum one con rod.

not sure how far away buxton is from you but it would be worth talking to rob at stella motors. his id on here is wrxbart. i live in manchester and takes me around 35 mins across the tops.

mmmmm i just dont know wat to do....if i could get a compleat engine i could drop it in but its just finding one thats any good and for my00 so think that will be out of he question, i just cant split block myself and seen as there is on manual out i dont even have torque wrench setting for anything it a mine field

thanks guys,,, i will be ringing pennine up tom cos hes remapped it twice i just like to ring aroud some first for quotes and booking times, last time i was at pennine he had 4 rebuilds in there

i will contact them all at one point
