Default 1995 ABS fault light won't go out

I did a U turn in my 1995 wrx as i straightened up the abs light came on. I pulled over turned the engine off, started agian and it stayed on. Now the ABS is not working and the breaks are deadly in the wet!!!! getting in to allsorts of shapes!!! ANY IDEAS!!!!?????????? PLZZ HELP

probably just an abs sensor! the fact you turned a corner probs means its one of the front wheels. maybe pulled a wire out. or it all could just be a coinsidence that it happened at that point. probs a sensor though.

a MASSIVE supprise. it was both rear brake lights!!! for some reason they popped, then the ABS turned off. 2 new bulbs all sorted, weird one!!!!

Its normal that any interference with the lighting circiut on Imprezas will cause the ABS light to illuminate, even LED bulbs can make this illuminate.
As you say its weird!!!
