2.5 not stupid bhp set up?
hey guys need to pick your brains.
recently purchased a nice forged closed deck 2.5 from roger clarks and im just wondering whats the best auxillaries to run with this? eg turbo injecters ecu etc.
im not after no stupid bhp just want some good bhp/ ft/lbs
the connectors on my injectors are yellow does this mean they are 440 injectors?
current spec is
2.5 bottom end
v3 heads plus cams etc
un-equal stainless manifold
full 3" stainless exhaust with de cat.
aftermarket panel filter.

Front mount, 550cc injectors, fuel pump, fuel pressure reg, apexi power fc, K&N induction kit and a TD05 20G turbo. This should get you around 380 - 400bhp and similar amount of torque.

Bang vs Buck at your stage for 400bhp....
550cc injectors or FPR to whack up your current threshold
Keep the panel filter (but that does depend on your routing to the airbox and what version of airbox it is)
Pick up a 2nd hand TMIC (Ver.8 etc)
Appropriate turbo
Various ways to skin a cat if you ask me.

Why did you buy a Closed Deck 2.5 bottom end when you have no intention of going above 400bhp? A CDB 2.5 should easily be good for 600bhp+ and so you engine spec is way way over spec for what you want?

thats wat i wanted to make it very reliable. if i want to go more power then the engine will be good for it.
wanted a fresh start engine and 2.5 was what i wanted. plus get more bottom end grunt from it. and its something different. everyone man and his dog has an impreza but not everyone has a 2.5
so now il have a different car which will be solid at the bhp i want to run

if you can afford the supporting mod's to take you over 400 ie injectors and turbo etc etc and then just get it mapped to what you want ? that way if yu want to take it to 500 you can just get it remaped etc etc ??
