Default water leak please help!

hi , you get rid of one problem than another one appears , had to top up my rad today and found this pipe with a very small leak in it , my problem is , does anyone know the name of the pipe so i can ask subaru how much they would like to take out of my pocket for a small bit of pipe , it looks like its made of metal and looks very tricky to get out and repair , has anyone hadthis problem before , cheers

good luck changing that pipe mate.

its bolted under that inlet manifold and behind the timing belt cover.

them pipes are joint together they come off the water pump.

really will be very tricky to change in place, hope you have patience

cheers , it looks a big job and expensive if i take it somewhere , does anybody know if it can be repaired temporary with something like kalimex k-seal for radiator leaks, radweld or evo-stik hard and fast metal epoxy putty !!!!!!!!!!

Yeah, liquid metal glues work wonders!

I had a large split in one of my rad hoses on my old R5 turbo and I spread thick, liberal amount of it well over the split and surrounding area and it was a perfect watertight seal... So much so, I never replaced the hose.

Also done it when my WRX's radiator developed a pinhole in the plastic inlet tank too.

I'd defo do it as a temp fix, for sure.
