Default Samco inlet pipe! What size for a TD05 18G!

Hi,

I need to replace the stock STI turbo inlet pipe as it does not fit my new TD05 18G turbo.

I have measured the turbo inlet, it is 61mm.

Do i need a standard sized Samco or a Hybrid 76mm???

Anyone know of a company that can supply me a Samco hose?

Thanks
Harry

errr, Samco would be the only ones really.
and if you measured 61mm on the inlet then you need a 61mm samco.

My MD321H has a 60mm inlet and Zen used the existing induction pipe. Is the existing VF35 55 or 60 mm?
Probably the best suppliers are Roger Clark Motorsport or Merlin Motorsport, depending whereabouts you are.

SFS will make them for you but there is a wait for most bespoke hoses. Viper make them too but the ones I have seen are quite thin so potentially risk of sucking closed.

used my standard one on my 18g was a tight fit though. The standard pipe isnt very flexable aspecially this weather try pouring some hot water on the pipe to soften it up a little

The standard inlet pipe fitted my TD05/20g OK, so I'm a bit puzzled why yours doesn't work?

Viper only make one with 55mm turbo end. I had one but it wouldn't fit my MD321H so I sold it. It was very well made and very rigid and was a sensible price when compared to the likes of Samco or Perrin. If one of their products suits your needs, it would be well worth considering.

Sorry Harry but Samco don't actually make that pipe...

It is listed on there website as a induction pipe but with no part number and price as "tba" so they may do it in the future, but for now no luck with samco
