Default How to fit a turbo timer to a classic?

I bought a greddy turbo timer on the bay, and it was claimed as plug and play on a 96 sti. Mine is a 97 Catalunya. It only comes with the bit of cable and plug as can be seen in the pic. I assumed it would come with a long section of loom.
Any ideas where I would plug it in to my car loom?

Should plug in under the steering colunm. You have to disconnect a plug so you have two open ends. Then the timer goes in the middle. Does that make sense?

Nice one Dan, excellent pics, cheers! Still not sure what I'll do about the length of cable on mine tho, it is only about 20cm long...
