Loss of power at low revs
I have been having idle problems for a while now and loss of power at lower revs. The car is a 98 uk turbo 2000. I was advised to change the MAF sensor, so i did but it hasnt really made much difference...do u have to reset the ECU after replacing the sensor??
Also i have had my car sat around for a few days, went to start it earlier and wouldnt have any of it and wudnt idle properly...managed to get her going..only to find it would back fire and misfire under 2500rpm...and also would stutter up the rev range untill it got a bit of heat into it. Even when its hot i still have low power at lower revs...and deffinately dosent pull anything like it did when i first bought it...any ideas??

You normally have to reset the ecu after any sensor change.
Have a look here Scoobypedia | Trusted knowledge for everything Subaru | Scoobypedia / Scoobypedia under 'ECU' for a manual way of resetting.
