steering noise under acceleration
hi hope someone here can shed some light, when i accelerate quite quick i'm getting a noise thats sounds like its coming through the steering wheel, the steering its self soesnt seem to be affected, it was only doing it when the wheel was slightly turned i.e. getting into a gap on a roundabout, seems to have started doing it in a straight line now as well, checked the power steering fluid level, tightened up the belt, took the cap of the resevoir and turned the wheel lock to lock for 10 minutes (with engine running), been underneath with a pry bar to see if any bush etc where knackered, the last thing i can think of is a bearing in the steering colum at the top possibly, also if you hold just before full lock to the left the steering wheel starts to judder a bit, its on a 51 plate wrx engines just had a rebuild if that helps,,,,,;;;;;
cheers

I have a similar problem too.
Launching from stand still it happens, getting onto a busy roundabout usually. Its like a buzz that can be felt and heard through the steering wheel.
Its not bothered me too much but i'd like to get it sorted
