Don't discount the pump even if it's spinning with a live. Had same problem with my version 2, fuse was ok, put new fuel filter on e.t.c. I took the fuel pump out & put in on the bench, fed it with a live & it was spinning over?!

I was doing some upgrades so decided to fit a Walbro pump anyway (about £70) as the original pump was the stock one so it had given over 10 years of service! I fitted the new pump & engine started first time, problem fixed - I can only assume the pump was breaking down & not spinning enough to create the fuel supply required.

If it wasn't the pump in my case I was going to look into other possibilities such as the ecu & fuel relay (don't know where the relay is located though).

Hope this helps a little.

the relay is under the dash on the drivers side brown relay if you put your ignition on you should hear the relay it ticks then after a couple of seconds it ticks again have you tested that black box yet?
