wrx engine in 1.6??

i have been offered a 1.6 subaru and was wondering if it is a big job if i was to put in a wrx engine in it.Would be doin the work myself.Cheers

engine,gearbox,rear diff,prop shaft,drive shafts,ecu,wiring loom,probably the hubs,suspension. And probably lots of other little bits and bobs,it would be cheaper to go and buy a wrx to start off with.

Im Pretty sure you can buy an impreza turbo now for as little as £1200. it just would not be worth the hassle, or was it the insurance costs you was worried about too?
