to start mods i have
fmic
filter
exhaust and decat
1.2 bar boost ecu controlled not turned up
silicone intake pipe
catch can
walbro 225lph pump

im only getting about 15 mpg driving as slow as possible the car drives right tho never any probs.
did and emssions test and its came in at 7 at idle apparntly its surposed to be 0.5 done a search and ppl seem to get around 3-4 with a decat what could cause this and how would i check the suspected cause

If you mess with a car and not remap it then this is what happens mate.

 

Isn't low mpg and high idle emissions results a problem caused by a faulty lambda sensor?

I new it would need mapping at some point but it has ran 6 months with out any problems with these mods until the last month or so. i used to get around 25 mpg,now i can barley get 190 miles in a full tank thats 110 miles down on a full tank.
I did think about a remap when i started it all but i a thought i could get and esl board as my car was registerd a 96 but it isnt when i checked teh chassis data its and my 97 so the only options are around the 1000 mark.
But people i know with simialr mods and no remap are still getting readings of under 4.
