is this normal on an impreza? can't say i would ever have noticed but im running in my 2.5 conv! so using very low revs.

around about 2k revs im getting a small whine from box only in second almost like straight cut box but not near as bad.

gear box has just been rebuilt 2 months ago by glenburgie subaru in elgin and had no hard running since as my engine blew. hence 2.5 went in.

im maybe being paranoid just after re building engine etc im looking for noises.

just wonder if this is normal
