Car is a 2005 jdm sti running 370bhp.

I used to use 10w60 in my classic

haha here comes another which oil thread!

all the above are resonable suggestions tho

i've always used the mclaren stuff 15-50 think... Can't remember the brand, shame on me.

I thought 10/60 or 15/50 was fine for classics, but was under the impression that the later cars used 5/40

Motul 300v 15w 50 is what i now use

60 is far toooooooooooo thick, you will notice it, personally i wouldnt go over a 50 rated oil, 40 is pretty much spot on and I use to notice a 50 rated in my Spec C, slightly sluggish when first moving for the first 50 or so yards.
