Default Squeking When Turning Steering Wheel Either Way?

Only notice it when the car isn't moving much or not at all. I know i have a ball joint on the way out could it be this or does it sound like power steering pump on the blink?

Cheers.

It's a 1999 WRX.

Check that powersteering is topped up, if not they tend to give a squeeky noise when turning steering wheel
