Thats a shame because v5 on you could have an ecutek for about 500, although esl is about the same price i think, and simtek are about 900+ ish. Not sure about your model ecu but there might be other interim options, a bit like chipping just for now, but with serious mods, i would just go for a standalone like simtek straight away.

I thought the 98 ecu was a bit of a stickler at the moment, i thought ESL would have sorted it by now!
Simtek it is then, i had it fitted a few weeks ago, very smooth!
