Default STi-8 IC onto V5/6 Classic.. Parts Help?

ok hopefully getting an sti-8 IC plus BOV from a member on here, so was just wondering fi you guys could help me and point me in the right direction for getting the other parts required to fit?

i believe i need:

STi-8 IC bracket? {1x Newage O/S Intercooler Bracket (Subaru, £20.30 - S21885AA293) }

Samco Superflex 32mm hose? {1x Samco 35mm Superflex Hose (Merline Motorsport, £42.04 - SFL35)}

and a 90 Degree Samco Elbow? {1x Samco 51mm 90 degree Elbow (Merlin Motorsport, £20.05 - E90-51)}

is that all i need extra? wheres the best place to buy these bits?

any other bits i require?

Cheers

p.s. i know the OEM strut bar doesnt fit with this intercooler, does anyone know of an after market IC that will fit with the STi-8 Top Mount?

Cheers

This may or may not be of any help...

I know it's for a MY97/98 phase 1.5 but, if anything's applicable, you can cherry pick advice from Carl Davey's walkthrough: Carl Davey, specialist Subaru Impreza parts supply

anyone know if i need this which is mentioned on there?

2x Intercooler Inlet Gaskets (Subaru, £8.01 ea - S21896AA010)

mine comes with a bov, would i need to retro fit the oem one like they have on there? or just use the new one? kinda confused, didnt know you had to chop bits of the old intercooler

Carl was 'forced' to do it because the New Age's BOV/flange wouldn't clear the ICV.

Try physically offering up the STi 8 in the space first, so as to ascertain whether you'd need to do the same - it could be that he's used an STi 7 TMIC, but the STi 8 one's BOV flange might be sited slightly differently, allowing the BOV to clear the ICV . Just a small thought...

ok no problem, if i get the bits together it should be fine, as i'll be getting richard henry to fit it anyway.
so as long as i have all the bits required for him, it should be cool

I have a new age WRX intercooler already modded for a classic. It came off my MY 93RA and is complete with all hoses etc including a tap off for the dump valve. I may be interested in selling it.

Just make your own bracket for mounting it, also on a phase 2 car you can fit the STI strut brace back on.
