Defi Gauges Installed - Advice Needed for Settings
I've just installed some Defi gauges so want some advice on setting the warning functions. I've searched on the site but the advice seems a little sporadic and vague.
I have a MY99 WRX Wagon with straight-through de-cat, induction kit, etc. running with Silkolene Pro S 10W-50 oil.
Thanks in advance.

- Oil pressure - What are the min/max levels I should be seeing here? So far, it starts off towards 7 bar, drops to around 6 at normal driving and can go as low as 2 (although I think it dropped to 1 bar when I was in 2nd gear at very low revs).
- Oil temperature - What level should I set the warning for? At what temperature is it safe to floor it? So far, I've been running at around 90° but I've not driven fast yet.
- Boost pressure - What pressure should I be seeing? I'm waiting on a t-piece so it's not actually connected yet. I've heard it's around 0.9 bar on UK engines but I'd assume it'd be more on a WRX. I think mine was remapped by the previous owner.
Thanks in advance.

Oil Pressure i would set to around 2 bar, may go off on the odd occasion though.
Oil Temp really depends on how good the oil u use is, i was told the oil i use should be ok up to 130, so set my warn level to 115
Boost depends on how much boost the car is set up to run, add around 0.2bar on top of the desired boost level as warn limit.

I see oil pressure down to 1.5-1.3 bar when I let revs drop really low and oil is really warm (track), have alarm at 1.2 bar.
There are usually atleast one free outlet on top of your manifold that you can plug your boost gauge in to. Look around the middle/front of it.
