z4 ecu?

Default z4 ecu?

iv got a 93 wrx import..iv seen z4 ecus for sale on ebay and they claim a power imcrease from my stock ecu..what sort of increase would we be talking about? its a stock wrx at the mo.

They were rated at 260ps.

My 93wrx (with z4) with decat runs about that.

WRX/STi Saloon ECU's 2C, U8, W6, W9 - As above, 11.47psi held to redline. Fuel-cut 14.57psi
WRX (1995/96) ECU Z4 - 12.71psi, dropping to 11.78psi @ 6600rpm. Fuel-cut 15.65psi.

It all depends what you want from the car as it may be easier and cheaper in the long run to buy a remappable daughterboard or ecu.

might be the way forward then for now.just want some cheap easy power to tide me over for a few months

z4 ecu and v power is very safe to run and a nice upgrade from a u8 or w6 ecu.
