I'm going to fit a front mount oil cooler for my scooby (classic) and wondered where the cheapest place to get the hose is? and also who supplies a thermostat take off from the oil filter location to only use the oik cooler once the engine is up to temp. or is there no need for this, should i simply increase the oil capacity with the rad and it will get up to temp ok ??
Cheers
Chris.

I'm looking at making the kit up myself if i can.
I have the radiator with -8 JIC connectors
then i'm looking at Merlin Motorsport.
What are the threads for the oil filter so i can get the right adapters??.....
Remote Oil Filter Heads from Merlin Motorsport
then i'll get the thermostat sandwich plate...
MOCAL - SANDWICH BLOCK & THERMO 1/2BSP - M-OTSP-1
and the necessary connectors and hose.

I used Welcome to the home of Mocal oil coolers and components - Think Auto for my oil cooler, sandwich plate and pipes, although i have had several things from Merlin in the past, and they have always been a great company to deal with
