Hi just had mine tinted and they were 75% from the factory. I then had 50% fitted all round on my wagon and i think its just right, not to dark but you know its been done. Looks much better all one shade in my view.
5% is limo and very dark, the lightest depends on brand but normally around 70%. This i the amount of light that passes through the window.
Hope this helps

yeah mate as above go 50% all around.. looks best! and wont get any problems from the old bill about it even tho techincally its illegal, however mine was done professionally and you cant tell..
i did have 35% on back and 50% on front on my old car and that never caused any problems although coz that back 3 were darker it made the front darker on certain angles.
my opinnions is 50 all around

I got pulled a couple of days ago for my tints (was assured they were legal when I bought car). Roadside test showed 35% passing. Have driven for a year no probs but they are deffo cracking down. They said it is being considered to bring this test in as part of MOT.
Now have to remove tints and had £30 fixed penalty.
You pays your money and makes your choice I guess.
