Default Rb5 exhaust Q

Hi everyone, im considering buying an RB5 PPP. Obviously it has a Prodrive exhaust fitted but I would like to change it to a cat back Blitz Nur Spec R. The question is, would I need a remap after I fit the exhaust and would it be possible as ive heard the PPP ecu is mapped .

The PPP is set up for all the bits that are on it, Mike Wood would probably advise you on having the car remapped if you did, they can be tempremental if you change any part from the pack.
Are you sticking with a 2.5 inch all the way through?

no more than 1.2 bar, some will run 1.4 bar but 1.2 on that map is about as safe as it gets, i was seeing activity at 1.25-1.3 bar on a decatted PPP car, i needed to drill the restrictor plug out to fix it...

Simon will be able to map the car for you, not sure on how much he charges but £650 is the average cost.
And if your going for it, you may as well decat or go for a sports cat, look at those cobra sports cats in the trader section, well priced
