2.5 build.. more annoying questions

2.5 build.. more annoying questions
I know this thread has been covered a number of times and i have looked through alot of different threads, however their are afew things i would just like to clear up. I know a fair few have done a 2.5 to classic conversion so any advice would be greatly appreciated
I am looking at buying a v4/v5 type-r within the next couple of months and rip the standard engine to exchange with a 2.5
Am i right is saying a 2.5 short block will take up 370bhp 300+ft-lb on standard internals?
what is the max rpm the standard rods/pistons will take?
My heads off the original 2.0 sti V4/V5 block will fit or do alterations need to be made?
In one thread i read something about the idle control valve had to be altered?
Finally can i use the original VF turbo or is it better to upgrade to TD06?
Sorry to ask the same old question which proberly have been covered before but after a boring day at work my brain goes to sleep.. in one ear out the other
