Post ISO port????

Hi all me again!

I own a impreza sti type r my97 and was woundering where the ISO14230 fault diagnosis port is has ive got a greddy infometer to put in but carnt find the port anywhere.

You mean the OBD, onboard diagnotiscs.
Under the steering column, slightly to the right. Its clearly visible.

Lol yea thats what i ment hard day lol

I took the cover off that sits just above the pedals and under the steering coloum and carnt find it?

The 1 on my ep3 type r was really visable!

Well I was looking for it on an ep3 the otherday, and it was harder to find than the subaru one.
There is no need for a picture. Its the same connection as the Civic!

Its not under a cover BTW.

Ok the 1 on my civic was in the drivers side floor well by the centre console that was no prop, but still having no look with the scooby.

If i take the surrounding off from around the steering coloum where the indicators are, is it any where by there?

Post OBD PORT

Come on some 1 gotta know? Im trying to fit my infometer and need to find the OBD port. Looked under the steering coloum and are having no look.

Any 1 got some pics of 1 on a my97 the old dash NOT the 1 with the air bags.

97 doesn't have OBDII port.

Yup. old fasioned two plug jobbie

There is a data link connector for connecting up a select monitor, but data via that is very limited to that found on OBDII compliant cars (i.e MY99 onwards)
