I have a screamer pipe on my car and I wish I didn't It's really really fecking noisy on accel. I need to sort an exhaust out where it dumps to the exhaust instead of atmosphere

erm, from my understanding the screamer pipe is to dump from the external wastegate, the only real options are vent to atmosphere or recirc to the downpipe and out through the normal exhaust route.
So you need one for an external gate regardless, question is do you VTA or chuck it back into the DP.
OP is slightly confusing and a few people might think its an option on a normal turbo'd scoob.

Just clarifying for the masses

im sure you can use an external wastegate with any turbo as long as the old internal wastegate is blocked off well enough, my setup is far from standard, for one the turbo is under the engine now (look in projects at RS200 IMPREZA) and was easy to fit the external wastegate with screamer, your setup is a lot harder to fit a screamer pipe to, as there isnt a lot of room at the back, but if your good with a welder then give it a go, if not then you can buy the setup but it costs, heres a pic of mine.

my screamer comes off to the right of the wastegate now.
