as above need to get a induction kit that is going to fit with a fmic on my 1995 wrx import.
the abs is at the front, and gets in the way of a kit i was kindly donated by a member off dorset scoobys (cheers star)
there is a pipercross one i mifght be able to get quite cheaply, but what does everyone reckon of the foam?
i had one on a 2.0 20v bravo, and didnt like it as much as the normal mesh type one i had on a vectra
is the foam alright to use? my only concern was it didnt let enough air through

Search on here for induction kit posts mate and you'll find they're not exactly recommended unless you're running a heavily modified motor.
Think the standard air box with a decent panel filter is accepted as being good for up to around 340bhp??
P.S. I had an HKS foam one. Lot of roar but didn't exactly accomplish much, except for sucking in hot air from the engine bay next to the turbo

the airbox is ok, however, it dont fit as soon as you put a front mount in.
not the clearest of images but you can just see the pipework disapearing under the ind kit

Yeah, but do you not need an induction kit if you are going for a front mount. I have used apexi and blitz filters on a few of my other cars but not sure what would be best for an impreza...I would say that it needs to be a dry type filter though..

yea as above, that the whole reason why im getting one. i would rather keep the airbox as i know they are good, but its has to go so i can fit my hybrid fmic.
and the fact that i now have a large front mount on, will that not cool the charge temp quite a lot even if i do have a induction kit sucking in from the engine bay?
so anyway, whats one will fit a 1995 wrx impreza with a front mount on? want to gewt one this week and not spend a fortune on it either.
