I have a thing in my head about the lower the under bonnet temperature the better.
Plan to fit a VF23 to my RB5 shortly is it worth fitting a turbo blanket?
Will it do any harm? I have heard it may overheat the bearings?

I have never had any problems with mine and I run anti lag on the track so that should be just about as hot as it's going to get. I guess it would depend on how good your turbo bearings are in the first place.

They are water cooled, so shouldn't do any harm.
I fitted one to mine too help keep the under bonnet temps sensible. Dunno I it's really needed.
