I remember someone writing a thread about using one of these additives to raise the octane and prevent pinging, however I can't find any info on it anymore. Could one of you be kind enough to enlighten me again? What Spec is best for runnin this set up, my uk turbo 2000 is currently at 250brake however with the intended mods should see it over 300 soon.

Here you go,

First and most important is you need to have your car mapped for this fuel.

if mapped to say 10% methanol and then you put in 10% bioethanol instead it would run slightly richer - but that isnt the main issue, the ignition advance required 'may' alter.
I don't think it would be far out though.
edit to say - get your mapper to check it at least though.

I'm trying some NF at the moment so probably best to stick with the methanol for now.
cheers
