Car is a 1998 WRX Import wagon. Currently got a full turbo back exhaust system and an air filter. No cats either. Its running standard boost. if i get a walboro and some colder plugs (IK22's? / NGK BK7REIX?) can i up the boost to 1 bar ?

Hasthe car been re-mapped with what youhave done already? You will definatly need to get mapped if you up the boost othrwise the fuelling will not be suitable and will result in engine faliure. You may need bigger injectors awell.

NO it doesn't need a remap, 1 bar is hardly pushing the boat out on a TD04 turbo, get yourself a dawes device or GBE valve and set it at 1 bar, ensure you are running at the very least super unleaded and your ecu will be able to cope just fine ![Wink](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/wink.gif)
also fit NGK PFR7B plugs, not those poxy Denso sh1te and it will be spot on
