Default Help! Hose needed to fit this tight space..

hi guys really need your help, i need to get a hose or something today that'll come off the turbo (its not a scooby btw) of the following car (3") and take an air filter to the gap where the dump valve is..

we are struggling to get hold of something for this week, and need it before friday/sat morning latest..

any ideas? ive tried to take as many pics as possible of the area.. and want to avoid 90 degree elbows as we dont want to restrict air flow..

im hoping you guys will be able to help us out as ive seen some nicely hosed up engine bays on here

cheers - its urgent as its currently running no air filter .. (well lol a speaker cover/grill thats it..)

As long as it resists collapsing - there will be a LOT of fast moving air going through it!
Take a look at what Viper can offer. Very quick service if you use Paypal

Exclamation

Not being funny or owt mate and i know this does not answer your question, but the location you are looking at for the filter has got to be one of the warmest places in the engine bay, which means that poor little engine is NOT going to get any cold air into its 'cold air intake'
It does look a very compact/busy bay but is there not a better location Better a longer intake route and draw in colder air than a short route and draw in warm/hot air You will surly lose BHP

where are you thinking mate? we are open to ideas, its a completely home built car lol

we were just thinking theres no other space.. and it needs an air filter as atm it has nothing..

plus 400bhp.. dropped to 380 due to heat soak, wouldnt bother my mate much , he just doesnt want the turbo getting damaged..

best place i would have thought is rotating the turbo 180 degrees and bolting a k&n at the other side directly to it, but then its a matter of new intercooler pipework

how we get it there is going to be a problem, ill have another look at it tonight..

rang viper up and they said nobody makes flexi hose at 3 inch i.e. 76.2mm due to it being useless at that size..

what other options do we have?

Apart for the appearance the only problem i can see is the water on a wet day or from a car wash soaking the filter which ofcouse is not benificial

thanks for you help guys

and yeah lol a lot of money and headache.. (note. lol i didnt do much, this mate of mine just lives opposite me and i just went over everytime the 2 guys worked on it hehe and gave a hand when i could.. its funny really as i rememebr when they got the car and it started off as a 123k vti that had rust all over it.. that was 1 year ago, now look at it £120 car to a car thats probs cost them 10k? i dunno never asked them probs less due to them being mechanics by trade so onyl really got parts and mapping charge) lol the limiting factor now are valve seals or oil seals or something like that, so theyve got to be done again (Matt at racing line in halifax said) due to there being smoke on overrun when tuned more than 397..

tbh i think more power will be silly , its nice and usable with the lsd at the current power.. you dont want to start spinning all the way down the quarter mile, you want traction..
