out of interest what power can a 2005 JDM sti make? without a engine rebuild.

are the engines better built than a uk sti?

and what about the gearbox are these stronger than the uk?

just seen a few about for not much more than a uk car and was wondering if they were able to be tuned safer than the uk cars


any pointers and opinions would be great

There are tuners offering packages around the 400bhp mark. After that advice seems to upgarde engine internals.

Would like to hear of JDM twin scrolls running 430bhp with good spool on standard internals
