the standard boost pressure is 1.1 bar im sure, the boost can be turned up without a map using a daws device but I would NOT reccomend that, the first map is a sore one but after that yeeehhhaaa
If you are thinking of upping the boost I would be thinking about getting a decent exhaust and induction (even if its a decent panel filter) and get a remap. For ECUTEC I think its about £500 - £550 + vat depending on mapper and any discounts available. For subsequent maps it depends on the work, but if a full remap is needed it is usualy £200ish + vat, just a tweek is usually less from what I have seen. For that you will see a decent increase in power and torque and for normal driving much better fuel economy too, even when I was running about 370 bhp I was getting better fuel consumption over standard as I once got about 320 - 330 miles to a full tank sitting at about 80mph

Hope this helps somewhat

Graeme
