I'd be interested to know of any experiences with this oil. Was reading about it recently and boy is it expensive... about £100 for 5L Had better be good for that money

Prolong have also just bought out an octane booster for £20.

Ive used the Engine treatment in my05 STI every oil change i have the treatment gets put in ive done this since the car was near new
I saw a demo at a auto sport show a few years back they put a bearing in oil and apply pressure to it with a torque bar 1st they used a well known quality oil and apply the pressure before long the oil starts to smoke and the bearing is knackered Then thay used Pro long oil the guy was hanging off the bar no damage to the bearing
So i guess it cant do any harm using it

Smells like snake oil to me.

Their fantastic marketing claims and also the fact that their previous products fell foul of the US Federal Trades Commision, and were prosecuted for false advertising claims sums it up for me.

Results for 'prolong'

That demo. is used by various additive makers eg Extralube ZX1, Activ8 etc.
Looks impressive but what the effect is in real life is a matter of debate.
