Default Help needed - test driving an 03-plate Impreza Wagon WRX with PPP

Hi All,
I'm test driving an 03-plate Impreza Wagon WRX with PPP at the weekend.

Is there anything particular I should look out for in this reg that could be wrong? Any specific tests I should perform whilst drive (like low gear revs?) recommended or any services/recalls or paperwork I need to check.

Many thanks,
Hugh

Hello mate, apart from the usual knocks and rattles, check the dics pads and tyres make sure the have good life left, check the paintwork for repair jobs done, make sure all the paperwork and service history is in order, and also that the prodrive certificate is present and corresponds to the car you are test driving. Enojy the test drive

Regards

Great car, ive just got one, three weeks ago, 52 plate wagon with ppp. i looked at six before buying mine. theres loads of thrashed rubish out there so be careful. the worst one i looked at was a silver one near heathrow with 64k on the clock but every panel was dented and the front bumper was pushed back....... and he only wanted £6.5k, way over priced. Just hang out for the right one.

Also check if it has had the cambelt service done as that can be expensive and would be due by now.
