what bhp should i expect from a uk wagon
just taken my car down to DS Automotive for a health check the car has a sports cat hks induction filter, tubular manifold and 4" pipe all parts on the car when i got it. except the hks super powerflow.
poducing 240.2 bhp at the fly 241 lbft torque boost 0.9 bar looks like i am loosing major amounts through the trans is this normal 183.3 at the wheels.
the boost pressure looks wierd max boost by 3200 rpm stays there till 4300 then drops off to 0.7 bar at 6000 then 0.6 bar by 6500.
i am used to mitsi gto and this is my 1st impreza so i really did not know what to expect thought the loss of basically 60 bhp in trans is madness.

Seem's everyhting is fine. Those boost levels seem perfect.
Also, 4WD cars have more drivetrain loss, er... due to the power-sapping 4WD system so, in conjunction with the engine's internal frictional/heat losses, etc, about a 20% loss from flywheel to hubs is expected. This would give you more like 190-odd bhp at the hubs, so you're not a miilion miles away.
