Default How easy to fit front and centre exhaust section

Looking to fit de-cat centre section and sports cat just wanted to know if it is a fairly easy job to do or whether to leave it for the exhaust fitters to fit it.
It is for a 99 type r any help would be very much appreciated Thanks!

Mate if you have got a set of ramps it's not too hard. The big issue is getting the space to work under the car safely. If you can get it in the air then even better ! One thing I would say is soak all of the nuts and bolts with a decent penetrating spray ( like Plus Gas ) a day or so before you intend starting the jobs. Makes things a lot easier. I've just down a similar job to my Newage WRX and it wasn't hard at all. It will just probably take you about an hour longer than you expected !!!

I did my newage wrx the down pipe and centre were no problem at all, It was the up pipe that took the most time. I should say if you get it up on axle stands you are looking at 2 hours tops and that will include cleaning everything properly before fitting, Just remember the heat shield may need trimming to fit back on, It did on mine as the ppp downpipe is bellmouthed and the original was just one pipe so did not have the clearance for the new pipe. As for bolts round the bellmouth just select the correct length extensions and use a full hex socket all should be fine.
