Default WRX Clock change

Hi all,
was just wondering whether or not i could swap my 1995 WRX clocks for e.g. ones from a P1 or similar.

Would it just be a matter of just plugging them in...

Is mine cable ? or electronic

yours is cable ,P1 is electronic so i would say not just plug and play.

You can swap them but imo not worth the hassle.

Not sure i'm afraid as mine have always been 180kmh so i've just added a converter and covered over the K to make it read mph

Either the OEM 180 clocks but WITH an 'in-line' speedo cable 'km/h to MPH' convertor (so a theoretical 180MPH Vmax, lol). I think you also need 'MPH' clearly marked in the speedo clock too, for MOTs/legality - see mbwrx's post above...

Or...

Replacement 110 clocks WITH NO converter, which you already have (the dial's lower resolution does the actual 'converting' to MPH).
