Default Weird Throttle Issue

I have a 93 JDM WRX. TD05 16g, 440 injectors, Cat-back.

I have a high idle around 1200rpm or so. I adjust the IAC and dropped it back down around 800rpm and after driving for a bit the car would throw cel's 31 and 42. TPS and Idle switch. If I reset the ECU and adjust the IAC back the code doesn't come on, but the idle remains high. Also since I bought the car I have had moments when the car feels as if it looses power and at part throttle the car will accelerate harder than at full throttle other times it will drive perfect and pull good in every gear. When I reset the ECU the car runs strong again then randomly it seems to start acting up again.

I have replaced:
-MAF
-O2
-Knock
-Coils
-Plugs(PFR6Bs Gapped 0.031)

I think you'd be best to check the TPS, if you have a look in the Tech Archive section you can download a service manual which has instructions for testing the TPS, requires a multimeter.

Are you sure you have 440s (they are yellow) then?
380s (grey) are standard.

This year of JDM WRX's come with a TD05 and 440s from what I have read. Turbo is a TD05 for sure. Everywhere I have looked that's what I should have a 240hp version. Its not like the Euro Spec at 208hp with the TD04.

nope early wrxs came with 380cc injectors but it is 240ps (236bhp).

I would check the TPS as has been previously suggested

Crazy. I was told that they are 440s at 3 bar and 380 at 2.5 bar and that my car runs a 3 bar regulator. Man so many different opinions with these cars. Do you have any literature on the injectors and the phase 1 EJ20Gs?

I checked the TPS and it was reading 0.6v at WOT and 4.4ish at closed. I adjusted it so that it was 0.9v and 4.7v like the manual stated. So far so good the idle is lower, but the idle sometimes jumps around a bit not too bad though. No cel either. I may adjust the IAC back to where it was before as well and should raise the idle just a bit and maybe fix the idle searching a bit?
