Default Cutting out at junctions etc!/ suspect overfueling

hi guys

since last night my car has started overfueling when the engine is running on/ changing down gears etc i am getting alot of pops/bangs from exhaust. im used to the odd bang here nd there due to decat pipe but its gettin to excessive now! the car also keeps cutting out when pulling up at junctions etc and seems to be idling low around 350rpm. ive searched and found lots of problems like what ive got and its caused by a failed maf sensor... my car is a classic 97 sti import. any help guys?

regards anth

checked the codes in ecu today and i have code 24 logged which is the idle air control valve, i have adjusted this today and my car has stopped the slow idling and cutting out when depressing clutch etc.. im going to give it a clean with carb cleaner when i get back to work on monday.. failing this isnt a complete fix has anybody got an Idle Control Valve for sale?? this still doesnt explain why im gettin excessive pops/bangs on over run and coming down gearshifts??? any ideas

thanks again
