Default Do i lose any perfomance with spoilerless look?

As above on MY2000'uk 410/405 classic.
Just concerned if handling/downforce/topspeed affected with no spoiler on,as always preferred naked look on the classics??
Thanks in advance

dont think so.

i run spoilerless, and she seemed pretty stable as the needle went past 160mph the other day.

I personally think scooby spoilers are just for show!

i guess thats why the WRC cars carry the extra weight of having one then, just to make them look pretty

this bloke removed his rear spoiler before this happened

WRC spoilers are designed in a wind tunnel and on CAD-CAM fluid motion dynamic simulators to ensure the optimum performance. Road car spoilers are designed to look a certain way so all us idiots want one with no regard to their effect. They weigh a bloody tonne too, so you're probably quicker without one. If I get another Scoob, it will be spoiler-less.
