Default which performance chip???????

I was looking at some performance chips on ebay, stage 2 for £50 and stage 3 for £95 etc

I have a 97sti, cat back exhaust, uprated panel filter

Has anyone fitted these chips and have they made a difference at all in terms of performance, fuel economy etc???

i run a stage 2 eclipse chip in mine and its been perfect, and for sure runs much better than it did on the jdm base map, but my map is quite a gentle one.
polar performance get good feedback if you want to chip yours there are limits to them obviously but for a small ish boost rise i think they work well.
to get the most from all your mods a proper remap and aftermarket ecu will be far better.
bang for bucks though the chips are hard to beat.

Unfortunately, the PP chip isn't available for MY97/98 (and STi v.3/4) ECUs
