Can't answer your question...

But who mapped it mate? Is there much lag etc (presume it's on a 2.0l)?

419bhp at 1.4bar on a 2.0lt is very good. The turbo is certainly capable of quite a bit more, but you'll have to decide how far you're prepared to push the standard engine.

JGM set mine to 1.45 bar, MD321H and 390 bhp. Had been 2 bar, but wasn't likely to last long like that !

P.S. A more efficient turbo is feeding more air in at a given boost level, my VF35 used to reach 1.7 bar, but wasn't anywhere near as quick.

How much are the standard pistons/rods good for on an sti? Id be a bit worried going over 400hp for prolongued usage, my Evo is good for about 400/400 but then its rod and piston time, although there will always be someone who pushes the boundaries like the Yanks running obscene figures on standards.

When Simon mapped the car he said it felt very similar to a MD321T. The MD series is exclusive to Lateral so it is not quite the same.

Yes the turbo is certaintly capable of more, only used one 321T on a 2.5, but I have used similar GT30 based hybrids on a few VVT cars.

1.4 bar on VPower.

A splash of Meth and a 1.7 bar spike dropping to 1.5 bar.

Cracking turbo from Lateral / TD, lag is virtually non apparent on a good set up, forget your 20G's this turbo is totally another level, crazily quick spooling for such a big Hybrid GT30 Core unit, I dont think ill get bored of this one!!!

Good figures for a TMIC

That is probably the restriction on the power now. The turbo is capable of more and really depends on how far you want to push the std internals. That may well have been why it has been mapped down to the figures you have.
