I have for a few days noticed a rattle from my exhaust that i just put down to a lose clip. After decideing i really should do something about it i took a look to see where the rattle was comming from.Sure enough there is a lose clip but thats now the least of my worries as it seems like the whole exhaust has split (please see photo). Im no expert but this cant be good or am i over reacting and i just need to twist a bolt somewhare??? If not does anyone know where i can get a good cheap replacement from (i live near portsmouth - hampshire)

Looks like someone has already fitted a jubille clip around the corroded heat shields as a temp fix

Looks like a heat shield around your exhaust.

the exhaust is fine its just the heat shield thats come loose very common just remove that section of shield as not so important after the downpipe

Thank you for the info so i can just remover the shield? If this is the case that will buy me some time, then i may upgrade the whole system.
