Can I remove the radiator without having to mess with the power steering?
It looks like the pipes from the power steering might be in the way.
Just want to check before I start trying to remove the radiator.
MY97 turbo.

I am pretty sure when i removed the rad i had to disconnect the hose's from the power steering rad/pipes just before the metal bracket holding them down above the radiator, make sure you seal off all the open ends, i used clingfilm and a bit of insulaution tape , you do not want any dirt or grit getting in there.![Nono](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/nono.gif)
Hope this helps.

I removed the rad without dissconnecting the power steering in any way on my 94 classic. just un-do the top and bottom hoses, remove the overflow pipe that runs across the topof the rad and dissconnect the fan connectors.
Then there are two brackets on the top that need removing. I think that you will have to take your fron grill off to remove the braket on the right also.
then carefully lift the rad strait up and remove the fans afterwards.
hope this is of help.
If your fitting an aftermarket alloy rad like I have then you will probably have to trim the water hoses as they are about 10mm too long and will kink slightly if you dont.

Had another look and Kingmikey, think mines the same as yours.
The power steering pipes run over the top of the radiator and I can't see any way of getting the radiator out without removing them.
The pipes run accross the top of the rad from the pump and down in front of the rad (kinda between the grill and the rad).
Must be different to your 94 Syph.

Thanks everyone for your help, got the radiator out, the clips on the hoses were a bit of a swine and I moved the power steering pipes out of the way very carefully but straight forward enough.
Is there a 'guides' section because that one you sent me rezaP1 was great? Would be good to be able to find that sort of thing easily.
