Default Car seems to be using a bit of oil ..good bad?

Hi all
After a fairly hard drive the car seems to be using a bit of oil. So regularly topping up. Good thing bad thing? To be expected sometimes from certain engines?

Oil temp fine. Oil Pressure fine. Engine sounds and feels sweet. No sign of a leek.
just keeps needing half a liter every now and then after a hardish run...to expected sometimes on a high performance engine with bags of torque?

Its just my other scoobs havent burnt much at all.

Just after a few general thoughts/advice
Thanks
Steve
