Exclamation CLASSIC ENGINE

I FINNALY GOT ME ENGINE OUT TODAY AND STRUGGLED LIKE F**K AS I HAD TO DO IT ON MY OWN.

IVE GOT THE CAMS OFF ETC. DOES ANYONE KNOW WHAT SOCKET TO USE FOR THE STAR SHAPED HEAD BOLTS AND WHAT TOOL/METHOD YOU USE TO GET THE CAPS OFF THE TOP OF THE VALVE STEM AS I WANT TO TAKE THE HEADS OFF TOMOROW,

its a 14mm socket, not a hexigon 1 but a 12 spline one (if that makes sense to ya)

undo in this order.

3 1 6
5 2 4

that is as if your looking at the bolts

NICE ONE MATE THANKS ALOT, IS THIS JUST SO THAT IT LOOSENS OFF EVENLY??

ALSO CAN SOMEONE HELP ME OUT WITH SOME GUIDANCE/ADVICE ABOUT HOW TO DEAL WITH THE VALVES PLEASE

yes its so it loosens evenly. as for the valves, im not sure i never touched mine as it had a topend rebuild late 2005. the buckets lift off and there is a little magnet the size of a watch battery sat on top of the valve spring. thats as far as i got
