So here's a quick question...
I had to purchase a new gauge pod for my car (93MY wrx). The speedo, tach, fuel and temp pod.
Is there anything at all that I need to know before installing it into the car, also, how do I change the miles driven on the new pod to match up with the current miles on my old one?

apparently the original person who imported it tried to put a new cluster in it and did it wrong. fuel gauge and temp gauge are busted, don't work at all. Tach uses the kmh MARKS as the MPH readings

Ehh, wife has it and I just took apart the odometer on the new one XD got it all back together, and I am not sure if I'm going to be able to roll the numbers back, some interlocking gears and really tight clearances to work around, don't want to break something. So it looks like my car is about to gain 60 thousand miles >.<

Lol, it's not necessarily the breaking them that i'm worried about, its the tight clearance reassembly more than anything lol. I'm afraid to pull the speed needle off more than anything, not sure if it would go back on, cuz if I could get it off, then i'd have alot more room to work and more sight of what to do

To make the miles go down, it might take a while but can't you just use the drill method but roll over 999,999 back to 000,000 then continue to the desired value?

Sorted things out. Took the speedo from the old pod, transferred the face plates and put it all back together again, was worth a shot, kind of a frankenstein setup, but everything looks stock and works great! I had messed up the miles on the old one when I disassembled it before, but it only gained 10k miles instead of the other 60k XD Which is fine with me I suppose. I'm only going to live in england another year and will be able to sell it where I am for probably around a couple thousand pounds lol
