Post ENGINE CLEANING

Hi, I have taken the engine out of my classic and want it to look brand new before its forged re-build.

I have seen loads of engines looking shiny and new and wondered how you all do it???

For the past few evenings i have been using a wire brush type thing in the end of a drill but it just doesn't polish up well and i cant get into all the corners etc

Thanks in advance

Something that helps is a little oven cleaner XD or some specific engine cleaner I suppose. Works better if the engine can get hot though. Really cuts through thick old grease and stuff making it alot easier to clean

ive cleaned a few engine parts on other cars in the past with this stuff called gunk, halfords sell it and it is really good, bit expensive but it really gets off any grease etc no problem, its in a red can, thats what i would use,u may need a few cans for whole engine.
